Fishin's Great

Our lake has been known as a very good fishing lake. Unfortunately, this became well known – evidenced by the many fishing tournament boats launched from the public access site. While our lake’s not a huge lake, the tournament boats frequently fly the wrong way around the lake between Maple Island and Hemlock Island at what must be 45mph or more. Here’s a few that the tournament boats didn’t get. These are what lake memories are made of.

Mick Braman on Maple Island Road caught this bass in May

The stuff of memories: Winny Barnes (4 years) and Cami (2 years) holding pumpkinseed fish

A nice eating 27" walleye by Nick Delph who lives on Polk Road
